In 1995 there were 2 lightweight expeditions to the area, including an attempt to dive the terminal sump in Sistema Sara by South Wales Caving Club (SWCC) and a continuation of exploration in Cueva del Entre Cuetos by Lancaster University Speleological Society (LUSS).

Following the restart of expeditions in 1994, work continued in the Sierra del a Corta range, concentrated mainly on exploration in Cueva del Entre Cuetos.
