2004 – Trekforce discover cave

Description:
From Hish (Jaguar) cave the trail leads via a short climb on the right steeply up the fall line to arrive after 15 mins at Illybal cave. The cave consists of a single dry passage 5m high and 3m wide and is approx 30m in length.
Thepassage size slowly decreases to end in a small sub chamber with some fine formations. There
is evidence of Maya occupation in the form of broken pots being found inside the entrance.
