Description:
The entrance to this cave is 15m high and 20m wide with a large section of Mayan walling
still in place. Its outlook is beautiful overlooking the river valley to the east.

A large passage descends at an angle of approx 45o to reach a flat floor in an enormous
chamber with magnificent formations. In the bottom of the chamber a crawl under the south
wall leads to a series of sub chambers and a fine passage leading east which eventually
ends in a stalemate choke. There is much evidence of the Maya in this cave it is likely to
have been used for ceremonial burials etc

The total length of the cave including side passages is 90m.
